Wyco points
cotton:
Hi everyone,
I am working to rebuild an H motor for my '48 rat bike. I would like to install new points and condensor. Does anyone have the replacement points and condensor numbers for the H motor. I know I can get them from Wayne but was hoping I could get them locally. Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure it will be beneficial , but , you might try taking your current set to a marine shop that works on old baot motors . I know for a fact that the Phelon system was used in more than one boat motor of that day . So , maybe the Wyco system was too .
This might help :

It's Wico, not Wyco! LOL

Yep Rick, I saw that right after I sent it. I never did very well in school. Pete thanks, I think I may be able to cross some of those numbers.

Check out this auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-NOS-Wico-X5112-Contact-Set-Points-Gas-Engine-Magneto-/111928011612?hash=item1a0f6deb5c:g:NZ4AAOSwu1VW3K91
To me, this looks just like it would work. In the chart posted in the link, it lists the x5112 for many applications, including an earlier Simplex.
