Post by: Mike Sal on December 05, 2013, 09:28:02 AM
I saw this on our Honda C70 Passport yahoo group.  I Haven't heard of this product, but thought I'd pass it along.

"Rusty tank on my '82. Dropped a handful of drywall screws into the tank and tumbled it in the dryer (wrapped in pillows) for 2 hours - all I got was dirty drywall screws. 24 hours with 50/50 Milk Stone Remover and water left it nice and clean inside. Rinsed it with WD40 now it's waiting for spring."

Good to know , Mike .

I still like the Wood Bleach method . It's cheap and easy to get , doesn't harm the paint and leaves a protective coating .
