How much is a water jet? I remember on one episode of "American Restoration" they went to a guy who had one in his garage and would cut out parts to order.

Made 5 more crown plates today. If you need one just say the word. Assemblers worked today and I had to be around for support so....I ran the mill!

Made another stack of these crown plates. So they are available again.

Any crown plates left.
Could possibly use two of them.

Hi, I am new here and in the process of getting a 1937 simplex. There are a lot of parts missing . Would this be something that would fit this year? Thanks. Garry.
-
Welcome to the site! Yes this crown plate will fit. Tell us ALL about this bike!
-
Welcome to the world of simplexes! Please introduce yourself and where you live in the Intro section.
-
Welcome hoser . :)
Post some pics of your bike , when you get it . ;)
Pete . :)

As soon as I get it I will post pics. Hopefully will be next weekend. Thanks for the welcome.

Any chance of getting two crown plates? Still have to build a front end for my CZ project. These would help as I will have to extend the headset from a Simplex and then I think it will work. I will not use the one from the Simplex I just bought. I will search for another one from a parts bike. The '37 seems to have been together all of it's life so I would like it to stay that way. Thanks, Garry
-
Sorry, I meant to say that I wouldn't use the whole front end from the 37. I will look for a complete or close to complete front end that I can modify.
-
Garry, pm your address to me and I will send some out to you.
-
Thanks, I tried to send the info. yesterday, but don't know if I did it correctly. Let me know if you didn't get it and I'll try again. Thanks again for the offer.
-
Whew! Out of crown plates again. Gonna make more when I can.

Thanks. I rec'd my crown plate.

Thanks Tom, I got the Crown plates today. This is very generous of you. Will you send me an amount that I can pay you? This is one of the best sites that I've been on. Very friendly and informative. I've always liked the uniqueness of the Simplex, but never had the opportunity to play with one. This should be fun. Garry

No charge! Glad you're with us.
