Hey yall,What size and thread is the stud on the top of the cylinder that goes to the motor mount bracket?
-
I think I have a 3/8-16 x 3/4 " bolt in there . Mine never had a stud , that I can recall . But , others will chime in , I'm sure .
-
on mine 3/8 nut was too big and 5/16 too small
-
I'll check mine today and let you know for sure just what I have in there .
I know that some of the studs had USS threads on one end and metric on the other . The carb mount studs cone to mind .
-
It could even be metric or a old thread pitch that's not used anymore. :-X
-
I didnt know if someone just put something in there or if the one in my cylinder was original. Its an M motor
-
I'll look when I get home. I had assumed it was a fine thread 3/8 nut (it's a longer than normal nut), but it might me that goofy british thread like they use on the axles.
