Hey yall,What size and thread is the stud on the top of the cylinder that goes to the motor mount bracket?

I think I have a 3/8-16 x 3/4 " bolt in there . Mine never had a stud , that I can recall . But , others will chime in , I'm sure .

on mine 3/8 nut was too big and 5/16 too small

I'll check mine today and let you know for sure just what I have in there .

I know that some of the studs had USS threads on one end and metric on the other . The carb mount studs cone to mind .

It could even be metric or a old thread pitch that's not used anymore.  :-X

I didnt know if someone just put something in there or if the one in my cylinder was original. Its an M motor

I'll look when I get home.  I had assumed it was a fine thread 3/8 nut (it's a longer than normal nut), but it might me that goofy british thread like they use on the axles.

I checked and I do have a 3/8-16 x 3/4" bolt in that hole .

Mine are studded with 3/8-16 in cylinder and 3/8-24 on the mount side.
