  I'm not working on a Simplex, I have a couple Whizzer projects I'd be happy to post but no simplex..I was just looking at the drive set up toying with the idea of a Whizzer trike somewhere down the road.

   Is there anyone that has a Simplex registered in Ma. Im asking becuase Ma has moped - under 49cc  and Motorcycle. Im just trying to find where these bikes fall with registering. I had to say My 47 Whizzer was 49cc but that was kind of believable becuase of the pedals, I think it might be difficult to pass one of these as under 49cc. By the way does anyone have a picture of a Simplex compared to a beach cruiser type bicycle?

 I know its an old thread but I am curious how the electric start/stator worked out for you with the HF212cc. Rick- I dont think they went with the Simplex mods- they did however just break the world record for fastest 173cc at Bonneville Salt flats

  Could someone tell me the engine compartment size on a Simplex (1950) I am thinking of picking up a frame I was negotiating for last year, and I have sold the motor I had planned on using.

  Im looking for any lit about the rear  brakes , schemactics etc for rebuilding and any other info that could be had. If anyone has any technical info I would be willing to scan it and and post it maybe we could start a technical reference section here on the forum.
