Did anyone here buy either of the two bikes that were sold earlier at this auction? They sold for more than I had expected.

I didn't get the exact amount but the Air Force bike sold for close to $3K and the other bike sold for around $5K.

I think $3000 for an original Air Force bike isn't bad. The other bike, at $5000, seems high to me. I think $3000 for the red bike would have been about right.

Rick,
That's kinda what I was thinking. I bid on both bikes but was more interested in the red bike. $5,000 was more than I was willing to spend considering I also had to pay approximately $800 to ship it to SoCal.
