rear sheave, paint or powder coat
« on: November 20, 2014, 07:48:55 AM »
I received my rear sheave in the mail yesterday from Wayne. It is a repop, but it looks to be fairly good quality. My question is, should I paint or powder coat the sheave? i'm planning on powder coating the frame and wheels all black... just curious which would work best, considering the belt will be wearing on it.

I like powder coating.  I have done this, and it holds up very well.  No rub through yet in 3 years on a bike that I ride.
