The pickers have been there, but he did not play their game! they bought a couple of things nothing much though... and their camera man was sick that day so it was not recorded. He has been collecting since 1970!

The Studebaker I see buried in there is a '56 Hawk (can't tell which one....they made 4 versions that year).  Tell your buddy, if he hasn't already, to get it registered with the studebaker drivers club.  They have a registry for all surviving '56 Hawks (that was the first year for the Golden Hawk models).

What an estate sale this is going to be......

LOTSA neat ol' stuff in there!!!  Brings to mind the question..."what's the difference/definition between a "collector" a "hoarder" or a "pack rat"???  The answer usually depends on if he'll sell ya the thing ya want!  LOL

That's either a 64 or 65 T-Bird next to the Studebaker. I used to have Alan Ladd's 61 T-Bird. One of his close friends procured it after he "passed away" in Palm Springs, CA. I picked her up for $1100 with only 18k original miles... man do i miss that car.

Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right,
There's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.
