This company apparently supplied Simplex pistons.  Maybe other castings.  Are they still in business?

Sterling Aluminum Products Inc. ( Now Federal-Mogul Products )

The company merged into Federal-Mogul Products in 1965. Federal-Mogul is a global supplier of automotive components and sub-systems serving the world's original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket.

Picture of a .020 piston I have. Other pics are of the piston I took out of my 1948 when I got it.  Name is period correct but I have no way of knowing if it is the original or not.  Or the brand Simplex used.  What have others seen?
