I bought the rubber foot pads off Ebay and the guy threw in the box a decal.

On Ebay just type in  Simplex Servi cycle.  the foot pads will pop up.

Ha . I think maybe he's just trying to even out the tire wear .
I recall launching over the bars when I was about 6 years old . Not something I ever wanted to do again .
