I recently traveled to Goergia to have Thanksgiving with my family and friends there. I am from Michigan but lived in Georgia for nearly ten years then moved back to Michigan. In conversations with Wayne Mahaffey I mentioned I was traveling south. I mentioned I would love to come to visit him. He was excited to have me. So, I got my wife up early and said my goodbyes to my family and hit the road to Alabama! I got to his place at about 9:30am and stayed to nearly 7pm!. There was a man there buying two bikes when I got there. I helped load them up. We went to lunch then got done to business of looking at Simplex stuff!! What a host. We looked at anything and everything in his shop. I saw and learned a bunch of things I hadn't before this visit. Should have took another day there. But as it was I doubled the trip by hauling a simplex truck and parts to Jim Lokai as I would be going right by his place in Ohio on my way home. But that's a whole 'nother story!
