Engine power curves

I question what was so different between engines as the Simplex progressed during these years. It looks like they were revving them a little higher.   Perhaps it was much more of a marketed scheme to aid in promoting sales.

Interesting . and yeah , most likely for marketing .

I wonder if they did the same type comparison for each model .
