Picked up my Simplex #4 from a local buddy 2 weeks ago. Since weather is cold over in PA, I had a decent day the other day and worked hard on cleaning off the surface rust on the frame and primed it for storage on a pallet rack. My buddy, John is repairing my center fill gas tank. The back loop on the tank was broken and the bolt on the front of the tank was gone leaving a hole on the front mounting side. Also going to cleanout the tank real good and treat it with a gas tank copating I bought and used for my Whizzer Sportsman gas tank. The product worked real well. I need to find the can to get the name off the can if anyone has interest in the product. And tips on a gas cap for a tank with the fill raised inside threaded spout??
