New guy questions.

1. My Simplex has two fill caps and I’ve been trying to drain the tank. I’ve leaned the bike over but still seem to not be able to drain the left side of the tank.
2. What fuel is everyone running? 50:1 25:1 or the bottles of the 2 stoke premix from the hardware stores.

You have to lay the bike over all the way in its side. You will never get it all out without removing the tank.

I run my bikes at 40:1, usually using Echo oil.

 The lower left side is the reserve . Run out of the right side gas , just lean the bike on it's right side and motor to a station or home .

And , I run a 40>1 mix of Lucas .
