Thought I would post this for reference. Is it true 1/4 ton trucks had gas cap on the left and 1/5 ton trucks had the gas cap on the right?

Tom, that looks like a long box on that truck. The only one I have seen is the one that Jim L bought from Gary and brought to Portland this past summer.

You can tell that it has seen some heavy service in its day. Warn decal, bent floorboard, dent in the fender and oil around the cover. Wonder what it was used for?
