Front fender chrome piece?
« on: December 11, 2012, 06:08:59 PM »
I have seen some pictures of bikes with a chrome piece attached to the top of the front fender and am curious as to what it is. I haven’t been able to make out what it is in any of the pictures I have seen.  Kind of looks like another light but I am not sure. Does anyone have any photos to share of what this might be? Is it an aftermarket peice or original? Thanks, Pete

The light on the bike in the pic is an aftermarket part I'm sure.  Some bikes have a fender tip which has the Simplex logo on it.  Gary Wollard had a mold made to build fender tips, but it's future fate is unknown (I assume it will someday wind up on ebay?).
