kicker
« on: March 09, 2013, 03:25:15 PM »
Hey yall,I put all new rivets in my kicker but the back hole was hollowed out 2-3 times the amount of other holes so I pressed a piece of steel in it and was going to redrill it. I read on here one of yall said it is supposed to be bigger than the other holes so how much bigger before I drill it wrong?

That hole is 3/8 from the factory. The rivets are 5/16.  I know some say that it has to be bigger to work correctly, but what I have done on 2 of mine is press in a bronze bushing, 3/8 to 5/16. I think it works better than original.
