Welcome!  That's a great ride you have there.  The earlier bikes didn't have numbers on the frames.  Think they started in '52 or so. Right guys?  Looks like a bit smaller saddle then mine.  Love the exhaust.  And the foot clutch.  They take coordination but are fun to ride.  We rocker clutch guys gotta stick together!!  Glad you found us!   Here's an idea.  MapQuest the vintage bike show in Portland Ind. Then get that thing burning gas.  You can thank me when you get there!  It's a blast.

Welcome pineknot ... :)

Just a bit of spit and polish and it'll be as shiny as those lake pipes in the background . ;)

Get started looking for a gas tank.  They are not easy to find!  Tom is right, get to Portland in July, it is a lot of fun.

Welcome to the club.  You've got some of the hardest parts already (aircleaner, tank, fenders......), so it should be a fun project to get it going.

I think I have that same sandblast cabinet......

Ya, the sight of that wheel & that pipe means you have another cool toy also......

Be a good idea to take measurements of the placement of that old decal before you refinish your tank. I always thought mine ended up too low.  Looks like it may have been the silver one.

Thanks for the info.
I forgot to add in first post that the seat cover has (Mesienger)
molded in the cover.
I forgot to ask Wayne if he had any decals.
I have got it firing, now just waiting on a carb kit and finish cleaning tank.

The old girl fired right up sunday runs sort of like a sewing machine, will do the test ride
when one more part shows up.
