My name is Joe,and i just got a simplex compact sportsman,i belive a 62 model that i would like to restore...i'm an old motorcycle guy who got in to vintage minibikes a few years ago and i've been having alot of fun restoring and riding them but looking at them mostley....i could really use some help with parts veiws and specs.and where to buy bits and pieces to complete this little bike and to also make freinds....

Hi Joe!  I have been looking at these myself.  If I am going to ride a minibike I would want it to be one of these. (I have a complete MTD and another to bomb around on)I have been contemplating on buying one. I have a brochure for these.

Thanks for the welcome...
i have done ruttmans and lil'indians...My father was a lil'indian dealer in the 60-70s and i only had one mini bike my whole childhood.I was the kid who was asking every one else "hey can i ride you mini bike"
and they would usually say no my mother says not to let anyone ride it.Well im a little older now and things are different.I have restored 6 so far,and if you come over my house you can ride them all you want...
