Hi Guys,
Don't know if you have run into this before but, the gears on the 56's kick starter are worn to the point of not catching on the crank gears. Not having a spare "of course" ; I flipped the gear on the kick starter. It is off set a little but it was not enough to stop it from catching. Starts now with no problem. Just an idea if you find yourself there.

I think some guys have made new spur gears out of chevy truck flywheels.  Wayne probably has replacements too.
