IF I have time , I bookmark the sale and decide how bad I 'need' the item when there's a couple minutes left . That gives me time to snipe .

I never worry about snipers.  If I'm interested in something, I put in the amount I'm willing to pay right up front & then forget about it.  If it sells for more, then someone else wanted it worse.  If not, I get a note that I won the auction & I figure I got a bargain.

I don't worry about snipers either . If they are quicker than I am , then so be it . It was fun  while it lasted .
