Picking Up Simplex

Hi Guys,
Just excited to say I'm headed to Florida on the first day of the year to pick up my Simplex.
I have heard that what you do the first day of the year is suppose to be an omen as to what your year will be like.
Looks like a great year to me (;-{)> I'll try and get a few pics to share.
Have a safe New Years
Cheers from Texas

Be careful & have a good time on your trip. I hope you have time to make an adventure out of it (versus a blitz trip back & forth). I've drug home things from all across the country in the past. I live in Illinois & have fetched:
A '54 Kaiser from Seattle
Another one from Kansas
A '26 Model T from Oklahoma
A Jeep J10 Laredo from Georgia
A Jeep J10 stepside from Kansas
A Jeep J10 Pioneer from Arkansas
A Victory Motorcycle from Cleveland
You'd think I'd learn but I guess it's a sickness.....

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the well wishes; I'll be travelling with my brother and doing a little sight seeing.
We're going to take a few days and see what we can get into.
Who knows, I might even convince him to get a Simplex.
Cheers

Got back to Burton last night around 3am from picking up my Simplex. It turned out to be an exciting trip with my 60 year old brother.
He has never riden on an air boat so we took a 1.5 hour ride on one. Don't know if the smile on his face will ever go away.
My camera died and I lost some of the pics. " Go figure",but here is one that was saved. I'll post it and others if I can sort the thing out.
Cheers

Glad you made it back safe. Now I need to get on the ball and get my bike running well so we can find some flat land and do some riding.

Hi RickS,
Portland looks like a lot of fun. I'll need to wait to the time gets a little closer to know for sure if I can make it.
I have several projects going and now have just added this new one. I'll get more pics. in a few days and post them.
Cheers
