Went to look at a restored '54 and '48 in Missouri yesterday. The guy wants $5,000 firm on both bikes together

The '48 is an auto frame with a supposedly rebuilt '48 marked motor, single spout tank , an early seat spring. Because of this he thinks it is a '48. His name is Mike and is a really nice guy. I passed but my friend did bring home a '59 or '60 sportsman. Just thought i would post this if anybody would like to check it out.
