Next year Portland Simplex only ride!

I think next year we should make it a point to get all the Simplex Servi-cycles together for a nice slow ride that everyone could go on...like after dinner or a little bit later where everyone that is there selling or visiting could go on-like Saturday evening-5 or 10 miles, or whatever? like a poker run or something! even do a ride a couple of times?? I don't really care but I'm just not one to sit in a lounge chair and bench race for the whole weekend...These bikes were built to ride so lets ride them! who is in? any idea's? we have a year!!

I rode into town a couple of times, but could not get anyone to go with me!  I'm in!  Hell, I'll even drag race  down the street next to the track!  LOL

Does anyone have a speed gun, so we can see how fast some of us can run?

I'm in for a slow ride next year. Wanted to go on a ride this year but never got the time. It seemed like by time i got there it was time to go back to bed. I hope i will be in a better place to stay next year.

I gotta keep mine running long enough to go for a ride. lol  I'm in also, I'm working on a deal with Wayne for a conversion kit for mine. I think it will be a lot more practical for what I'm wanting to do.

What does Wayne's conversion kit consist of?

He has a mounting plate, torque converter clutch, jack shaft with bearings, and also a kicker that fits the predator motor.

How about a "Tour De Portland".  Contestants go 12 hours on a Simplex as far as they can in 12 hours, bringing only a screwdriver, crescent wrench, one extra sparkplug, and a tire patch kit, with a 5 Gal. can of premix on the luggage rack?
