eBay Bike
« on: October 10, 2014, 04:03:26 PM »
This looks like a nice bike if the price is right, but I seriously doubt this bike was risen 5 miles within the last 6 months!  Judging by the tires and condition of the drive belt, I bet it hasn't been started in years!

"Question & Answer     Answered On    Oct-10-14 .
Q:     Does this bike have a 2 stroke engine? Could you ride this bike in a vintage parade or event in it's present condition? What is the estimated top speed of the cycle ?
A:     54semiphore: Thanks for you interest. This bike does have a 2 stroke engine. It has been in storage for over 50 years. It was my Dads and when he passed away in 1988 it was mine. I conditioned it up to ride about two miles after putting bicycle tires on it. The belts are old and dry rotted but working. The handle bar throttle needs a little work. It runs about 35 miles an hour.It is in excellent condition for its age. It was kept in a shelter until I got it and I kept it in my shop. At my age (84) I need t dispose of some items I have accumulated. "
