Dual fuel cap aftermarket replacement from Stant

For anyone who may be looking for a cost effective replacement for your dual fuel caps, I found the Stant 10623. It is from a 60's Chevy truck. It has a light chrome finish. It does not have the knerling on the edge. They are only like 6 bucks. They are a perfect fit.

That's nice to know!  Wayne supplies one that has the knurling, but it is $13.  It came in a plain white box with no markings, so I don't know who makes them.

If your local parts store doesn't keep them in stock, have them order several so you can pick thru them.  When I bought mine, I went thru 6 or 7 boxes before I found 2 that didn't have any dents in them (check under that decal on top too).

What is strange is Napa says Stant is the manufacturer of this cap and reference the stant number. I wonder if it does in fact have the knurling. At $4.50 it is less than the actual stant item I purchased.

Its even better to have a son that's works at a parts house that gets a good discount on prices. The shine is not the best on these caps so I will try buffing one to see if that shine will pop.
