petrol tank

  I have now started on my bike, can any one please tell me what holds the petrol tank on,there was only the petrol pipe holding mine on.cant se any mountings at all.    thanks   eric

Eric ,

Look at your own pictures . That aluminum 'half tube' rests on the frame under the tank and is supported by a nut/bolt combination toward the front . There should be a hole in the flat frame member , for that bolt , that runs under the tank .
