Mounting Honda/clone GX engines in a vertical position.

I like the look. What I question is the oil ,is this a splash system or is there an oil pump. I would hate to burn up an engine because of lack
of lubrication. Bill Marcum  8)

I've wondered this same question.  I've seen several projects now where they've tipped the motor up to get it vertical, so it must not be too detrimental.  Either there's no oil pump, or they get in there to revise the pick up tube.

Dave, did you read the whole thread? Pat does awesome work! Check out his website.  He went to really great lengths to isolate the vibration from these motors.

Mike, no oil pumps.  You do need to do a couple of small mods to the inside of the engine case to help with the oiling.
