Hey all....I just found this site this morning. I'm sure I've met/some many of you @ Portland in the past. I'm the "oh the Rupp minibike guy" always on the north end of the fairgrounds. I thought I'd register and hopefully get info on what my frame/tank/fork actually is.....from what I have read through so far and compared....I'm guessing 48-49....I'll post some pics under the other category.

Hi Brandt! And welcome. I'm sure I have seen you at the show and will make it a point to say hi. Besides the Simplex I putt around on a 1971 MTD original mini bike. Runs good even though the motor smokes. And I would rebuild it but it blows perfect smoke rings when I rev it up so decided to leave it!

jockey, I have a beat to death Rupp Blackwidow that does the same thing. The pull rope feels like the engine has no spark plug but it always starts and blows perfect blue smoke rings when blipping the throttle
