I don't know...all I did was drop it off and pick it up...it has foam that's shaped I believe ?

Must be some fairly hardy foam . The seat pan edge seems sharp enough to wear any foam pretty quick .
Maybe they installed some kind of edge 'trim' to help keep that from happening .

My benches are built in the garage and we got a new welder...I'm going to make up the brake rods and mounts for it next and get busy.
What I wish I had....one of those new mustang motorcycle engines...those are cool puppies. Villiers...kinda like those too

Fits in there nice. How are you planning on starting it? Is that an old whizzer motor, or a new reproduction?

It's a newer one...electric start, I'll be using from an 2008 ambassador. This engine has had some port and chamber work done to the upper end,it's pretty strong.

I'm putting around Portland with this next summer no matter what. It's now front and center in the shop. I acquired an Albion 3sp with reverse and might rethink the install of engine but I'm tired of it setting there.
