just thought ya all might like a peak at a car we have done all the work on over the last 4 years. 1965 427 REAL cobra. this car will be shown this spring at ameila island concors. since its been finished only a few have seen the car. the owner has been offered 2 mill for it and turned it down. so now ya say, big deal a cobra, but ahhhh hold on. its one of one black 65 427s, ok so, well its one of 6 427s built on a narrow hip car ( huh, yep a 289 body before they changed). this car has an extensive race history in ca. car was restored in Lilburn ga and is now in north Carolina with its owner. I will post some finished pix of the car when I download them at home. also, this is the first real cobra that has its frame powder coated. HUH you say, yes you cant take the body off of a REAL one. it would fold up like tin foal, all riveted to the frame. they built the body around the frame.
this car will most likely be one of the most talked about 427 cobras. if you think the black paint looks slick in the pix, you should see it in person. ive never seen a straighter black car
if you think the interior was redone, your wrong. they found a guy in CA that had a 65 427 repoed in 66. he stripped the car of seats, carpet, spare tire, carbs and had it all stored in his basement all these years. they payed 20,000 for all that stuff. cant make this shit up
by the way, that's me in the first pix
