Model K brochure
« on: March 22, 2020, 12:46:56 PM »
This is a tri-fold brochure but smaller than others.  Measure  3 1/2"  X 6" when folded.  Looks like model K specs.  So maybe mid-'49..

Pete, you are right, you are confused.

The Winged decal was use from inception until 1950.  They then went through several decals, Simplex 125, the non wing decal of 1952, which probably actually came out in 1951. In 1953 they moved to the Simplex Automatic decal.

They also built foot shift bikes through the 1953 model year.  I doubt they sold many with the new automatic available.

Ha . I knew 'something' was off . That must be the very first time in my life ... LOL

Can that information be added to the model differences chart , or , is it already there and I missed it ?

Thanks for the education , Rick . :D
