Im new here and new to Simplex. I recently acquired what i believe to be a 52 model bike? (Frame #05241) with maybe a 55 model engine? (Engine # M17027B) This is just going by the registry numbers maybe someone here can verify?  I do know it was repainted several years ago and i am planning to completely restore the bike, maybe start on it this winter.

It might not take too much to make it a show piece .

Hi Wes, welcome aboard!  That is a great bike to start with, looks complete.  Those Harbor Freight welding carts are really nice for the money!

Thanks, and yes the bike is complete and runs just needs fresh paint and decals. I don't think the tank decals are correct if it is a 52' model from what i can find.
