Here is Wayne Mahaffey with his scooter, wish I had one of these.  The blue one is owned by an older woman, she rides it all the time.   It is powered by an 8hp electric start motor and runs really sweet.

The last one is a safti-cycle, pretty neat.  The gentleman that had this one had 3 more in various states of disrepair.

The maroon simplex automatic with the awards plaque laying on the footboard was for sale for $5500.  The guy claimed it scored a 98 at an AMA show.  It was pretty nice, but was listed as a 1950, so an auto would not be correct for the year.
I didn't hear the bike run, so I don't know the condition of the engine, but assuming it runs good, the price seems about right.

Chainmaker,  I have some more I'll post in the next couple of days.  There were quite a few running 5-6.5 hp honda clones, all with slightly different drive arrangements.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for posting some great pictures! You didn't by chance take some pictures of the drive train setup on the non-stock models did you? Just curious on how they did it.

This simplex automatic scooter had a honda motor, and I'm not sure what this other thing was?

And lastly, a reproduction Servi-cycle with fiberglass tank and fenders.  I wasn't really my style, as is has too much lights and stuff on it:
