My suggestion is, after painting the tank, use something like thin rubber or foam to pad the tank contact points.  If not, the vibration of the bike will rub the paint off.  Mike Sal suggested maybe using the liquid rubber they use to coat the handles of tools and paint some on the frame.

well its still not completely there. im still learning on what is correct parts for what. but it at least looks correct. besides for the correct missing front wheel
the black paint is just generic spray paint. to keep the rust down not the final paint.

Hello !   I hope you don't mind me asking ,,   Does the seat spring support you O.K. ?my servicycle spring is way too weak for my skinny butt ( 170  lbs)   keeps hitting the fender if I don't dodge cigarette butts ,   Engine looks frankenstein , but should do alright if it's tight   that early belt setup might drive you nuts at first ( like it did me)  once plumbed up , it does alright ,   Please don't hesitate to ask stuff ,  these engines are very " different"  and have specific idiosynchrocies b( hope I spelled that right )   thank you for the excellent photos and good luck with your project ,    Larry.
