I have a 1958 with only one spark plug.Is this aftermarket or very late production? I have only seen one other but it was 150 cc.Thanks, Michael C.

Wayne told me very late production. I personally don't think the twin plug did anything to help the engine run better. I have run mine with the twin coil and a single coil, and I don't see any difference.

I think the whole 2 plug thing was based on the old days when people may not have done a good job of mixing their oil. A lot of dirt bikes from the 60's also had 2 plugs in the head (although only a single ignition system) in case of a foul.
