New project.

My new project. Purchased this frame off of ebay. I purchased a gas tank a while back, now i'm tring to decide on the color.

Welcome aboard!  Post pics as you progress.  Are you going for a stock restoration, or something custom?  If you only have the frame and not a lot of the other parts a stock restoration will cost an arm and a leg! You may be better off building a custom with a briggs engine or such.

Thanks, I would like to be able to do a stock restoration, but I plan on doing a custom. I have a very old briggs that I plan to use. I will post more pics as I progress.

Thanks for the picture.  Your beginning is almost exactly what I started with.  I considered using the horizontal-shaft Briggs for a power plant, but opted for a different source.  How are you going to transfer power to the rear wheel, belt or chain?  Keep us informed with your progress.  Great beginning!
