Pete, I here you!! They just grow up to fast..Motorcycles are a part of our every day life. Video games are not for us. My oldest son Zack started racing at four years old and now is a professional racer. He just recently got a job as a AMA mechanic for super-cross racer #448 Brock Shoemaker. The west coast 250 class is on break so last weekend he raced Stadium trucks at Prim, Nevada. He is in the red truck. Here is a video.

We try the best we can. My son got home yesterday. He told me in the video the radio-controlled helicopter with two go-pro cameras on it hit his truck while he was in mid flight. The on board GPS system recorded him hitting the jump at 84mph. Now that I think of it, he is better of with a roll cage then racing motorcycles. When your kids are doing what they love in extreme sports it exciting but on the other hand we pray for the safety of them and there competitors.

We have visited the ER so many times they know us by name. The day I was born my mom was in one room at the hospital and my father was in another room in traction from a devastating crash at Ascot Speedway. I always tell myself and boy's to be safe, but when the gate drops that all seems to go out the window. We all want to be first to the checkered flag!! My brother and his children are the same way although they race dirt track modified and sprints. I guess Racing is in our blood. I thought I would share a few photos of my brother and his son. They are both great racers and I am very proud of them.

I thank god for keeping us all safe and alive.
