What years did Simplex use there own branded headlight?  I have never noticed this before.  I thought most were KD869?
Is it embossed, or just painted on?

I see in the  manual , the headlight is offered with a switch in that position ( # 500 ) .

But , I can't find any reference to that switch in any of the wiring diagrams .

I don't think the toggle switch in the bucket was factory.

I'd think that lite is an early model (is the mounting bracket for the horizontal or verticle style?).
