The part covered in rubber isn't the part that cracks you in the ankle bone!!!  It's that quarter gear that gets you!

That reminds me, I still have a dent in my shin from starting my Simplex 51 years ago.
Don't remember what I hit, but I do remember it hurt.  A LOT!!!!!!
