ignition cam

  Hi  can any one please tell me how the ignition cam is held on the crank and what is the spring for that it shows against the cam in the parts book   thanks     eric.

The cam has a tang on the inside that goes in the crank key way.  The spring acts as a spacer.  The flywheel holds it all together.
