Where Can I Buy These Tires???

Those are bicycle tires . Smaller than the stock 2.5" . OK for show , but , I wouldn't trust then at speed .

Actually , these bikes top speed is about 45 and some maybe a bit more .

Anyway , the difference between bicycle and Simplex :
First consideration would be weight . About a hundred pounds more for the Simplex .
Then , sustained speed . Simplex will generally be traveling at a higher speed for longer periods over most likely rougher surfaces .
And  , wheel rims have to be considered . Later model Simplex have a much wider rim than bicycles . Put bicycle tires on a wide rim and the tire beads will never seat correctly .

Last , bicycle tires 'look' like a good try , but they just don't make the grade .

Maybe I'm all wrong on the above counts .
One thing for sure , I don't heal as quickly as when I was an indestructible 18 years old .

Simplex tires are much stronger and have a highway speed rating. They are the way to go. Bob

Type in Simplex tires on the Coker search bar. The 26 x 2.50 SKU    74778 are the tires made for the Simplex scooters. Wayne beats Coker's price about $30 a tire for the same tire.

Good evening,
unless someone actually read the tires and they say Duro, those do not look like Duro cruiser tread pattern and I cant read the pictures good enough.  It does look like they say 26 x 2.125.
They also look to fit the rim better than 26 x 2.125 bicycle tire.. Be aware that the bead seat diameter for 26 x 2.125 bicycle tire is 559mm 22" and Simplex is 546mm 21.5". 
I have tried bicycle tires years ago and they will pop off the rim.
I do not know what tires are on the bike in the museum, but am certainly interested.  If someone has actually been to the museum and has close up pictures or read them, plenty of people would like to know.

Scooter, I have mounted several sets of bicycle tires on Simplex wheels, as have countless others.  I’ve never had an issue doing it.  They fit nice and tight, exactly like a Simplex tire. 

The only exception to this is the 1959-1960 Sportsman wheels.  These wheels are a different diameter.

Good morning,
attached is an image of a different brand (Super 11)  of 26 x 2.125 showing the bead pop off at 20 psi.
The only thing I can think of regarding Duro or maybe others is they make the bead diameter smaller than 22" since the stretch so much because they are foldable tires.

I did go out this morning and mount a tire (could not see brand) from my bicycle on a K model rim and it fit nice.

If you have been having luck with the Duro Cruiser tires, I dont mind trying some also because I need four and I only putt around the yard (or, would if I could keep a tire on)..

I sure would not turn any corners fast with the bicycle tires.  And anyone using them has an obligation to make sure the buyer or other rider of their Simplex knows of the unsafe tires on it.

I found this post because I was getting ready to fork over the money for four simplex tires and Coker is out of stock.  I was going to call Wayne.
I do not show the bikes, so I have no problem mounting affordable tires.

Are you sure that is a regular servicycle wheel and not a Sportsman wheel?  That would explain it being loose on the rim.  Measure the diameter of that rim and post it.

Here is a 26 x 2.50 bicycle tire at 35lbs on a Servicycle rim.  No bulge, no popping off.  Matter of fact I have 2 more that look just like it, as it's on my 1/4 ton Truck!

Good thing I have a 2 foot caliper.   I only know the wheels were on it when I got it.  It is a M automatic model.

The total OD is 22 9/16"
The bead seat is 21 5/8"   
The total outer width is 2 3/8"
