Here is a 1954 catalog sheet from Western Auto, with the Wizard Automatic.  I understand they only sold them for a couple of years.  The bike isn't mine, but there is a maroon Wizard in town.

Speigel also sold Simplex cycles thru their catalog.  Here are 1954 and 1955 catalog pages.
