Maybe , but I've never seen anything like that on a bicycle .

ok guys, go to ebay and type in simplex bicycle. you will see stuff that looks like this part and also the the logo looks the same. its a bicycle part guys

 I agree ,  Lots of simplex bicycle hootseewhatsees ,  but this can't be no servicycle part .      Good fodder for guesswork though , ???
