I wonder if Wayne has repop axle acorn nuts?  Mine are pitted.  The other thing is the original nuts have a "collar" on the back side which goes into the front fork lugs

I figured on using a spacer. After they arrive I can determine if they are thick enough to turn down one side a bit.
