Hello from Michigan new member

Hello my name is Matt i am from Dearborn Michigan and i am the new owner of a (i think 1956?) sportsman that i picked up from a flea market near Detroit Metro Airport. I have always been a car hot-rod guy and never had any interest in motorcycles whatsoever until i saw this bike. I love the shape. drive, and suspension and thought this would make a cool cruiser that i could take to the drag strip or salt flats when i go racing. i look forward to getting help and info from you guys hear on the forum so i can get this bike going again.
